The Arizona Clean Elections Act was passed in 1998. It creates transparency and accountability around our elections. Candidates for State House have the opportunity to raise $5,775 in Early Contributions (limit $220/per person). Candidates must then collect 200 $5 contributions from voters who live in their district. Once successfully completed and verified the Clean Elections commission will provide our campaign with $34,649 to spend in the primary election. When we win the primary election we will receive another $23,099 to use for the general election. We have officially filed for clean elections funding!
